Defense of the Faith

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” — Jude 3

← Back to the Street Preachers Corner

This collection has its home in the Street Preachers Corner — the preacher’s armory, where the man who preaches in the open air is armed for the questions he will meet there. Two works live here. Apologetics gives the positive case — be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15). Kingdom of the Cults does the other half of the soldier’s work: it names the counterfeits, states their teaching fairly, and answers them from the King James Bible.

Apologetics

Eight studies of positive proof: the Bible is God’s Word, Jesus Christ is God, the Resurrection, salvation by grace alone, Christ died for the whole world, one way to God, creation and science, and how we got the King James Bible.

Objections to Christianity Answered

Fifty questions skeptics ask about God, the Bible, and Christianity — each one stated the way the skeptic states it, and each one answered from reason and the King James Bible.

Kingdom of the Cults

The counterfeit kingdoms under one banner: the Marks of a Cult, then the groups — Islam (with its full-length history, The Sword and the Crescent, in Study Materials), Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Roman Catholicism, Christian Science, Oneness Pentecostalism, and Unitarianism — their teaching stated honestly, then refuted from Scripture, with the book behind the name honored at the door.

The Refutation Library

The rest of the counterfeit books, opened and answered: the Pearl of Great Price, the Doctrine and Covenants, Science and Health, the Bhagavad Gita, the Dhammapada, and the Tao Te Ching — each one searchable, annotated, and downloadable as a printable PDF.

Where the New World Translation Changes the Bible

The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Bible is copyrighted, so it is not republished here — instead, this guide documents its most consequential changes, verse by verse, beside the King James text.
