It Is Written
A two-person game of the Book. Read the verse aloud; whoever calls its reference scores — the book for 1 point, book and chapter for 2, the whole reference for 3.
The verses are listed with their references hidden. Take turns, or race: the first player to call the reference out loud takes the points. Reveal the reference to settle it, then award the points on the scorecard — 1 for the book, 2 for book and chapter, 3 for book, chapter, and verse. Agree your winning total before you start, and play on: the bank is large, and no verse repeats until every verse has been played.
